MIF Expo: a national showcase for French manufacturing
Created in 2012, the Salon du Made in France has grown with interest in the origin of products, know-how and local production. Its fourteenth Parisian edition will bring together industrial companies, artisanal workshops, established brands and young creators in the same hall.
The principle seems simple, but the visit requires a bit of method. “Made in France” may concern the processing, assembly, materials or origin of certain components depending on the product. The show offers the opportunity to directly question manufacturers: where is the object designed and produced? What steps are carried out in France? Can it be repaired? What labels or traceability details support the claim?
By bringing together in the same place the products, those who manufacture them and the visitors who seek to understand, the meeting makes visible industrial choices usually hidden behind a label.
The show attracts two complementary audiences. Individuals come to discover, compare and buy. Professionals are looking for suppliers, business gifts, brands to distribute or partners capable of mass production. In both cases, the direct encounter brings more value than a simple row of stands.
Dialogue makes the difference.
Which areas should you explore first?
Fashion, accessories and beauty
Clothing, shoes, leather goods, jewelry, eyewear, cosmetics and personal care products occupy a significant part of the selection. To go beyond the brand effect, ask for the origin of the materials, the place of manufacture, the repair possibilities and maintenance advice.
The label doesn't say everything.
Home, garden and homeware
Furniture, decoration, tableware, household linen, maintenance and zero waste allow you to compare objects designed to last. Dimensions, lead times, warranties and delivery conditions are worth noting immediately, especially for large purchases.
Measure before buying.
Food and regional products
Groceries, drinks and regional specialties naturally attract many visitors. Start with the producers you really want to meet, then save the tastings for the second part of the visit. The organizer recommends bringing cash, although many stands accept cards.
Leave some flexibility.
Children, leisure, tourism and mobility
Games, toys, stationery, sport, tourism and vehicles expand the show beyond end-of-year shopping. For a family visit, choose a few priorities in advance and take breaks: the hall and the crowds make an exhaustive exploration unrealistic.
Comfort matters too.
Companies to spot in the 2026 list
The official list is updated regularly. As of July 13, 2026, it already includes companies with very different profiles. A Demain presents organic cotton household linen made in France; A L'Usu Mattei, artisanal preserves cooked in Corsica; A Signora, Corsican artisanal natural cosmetics. Abeille Assurances is also among the service exhibitors.
These examples show the diversity of the show, but they are only a starting point. The official search engine allows you to filter companies by region, department, sector and product category. Add your favorites to “My visit itinerary” in order to prepare a selection that can be used on site.
Sorting starts here.
The Made in France Grands Prix offer another interesting filter. Open to exhibitors and non-exhibitors, they reward products and approaches in several categories. Consulting the selection before the visit helps to identify companies that are less visible than the big brands.
For a buyer, cross-referencing this selection with the filters by region and category makes it possible to build a balanced route between already identified suppliers, emerging workshops and solutions truly adapted to the specifications.
A simple plan for your day
First choose three priority areas. From each of them, select three to five companies, then categorize them into two groups: essentials and discoveries. This hierarchy avoids crossing the hall several times or devoting the entire morning to the first stands encountered.
Three priorities are enough.
For a personal purchase, prepare questions about origin, composition, maintenance, warranty and delivery. A professional buyer will add wholesale pricing, order minimums, production capacity, lead times, customization, packaging and logistics.
When several people visit the show together, divide the sectors, share the same format of notes and meet at a fixed time to compare offers before memories become vague.
This joint meeting also avoids duplication, reveals price differences, brings out questions to ask the next day and allows you to quickly decide which manufacturers deserve a second in-depth discussion.
Arrive when the doors open, when exhibitors have more time to talk. Bring a sturdy bag or collapsible cart if you plan to buy multiple products, but don't load up too soon. Photograph the references with the consent of the exhibitor and associate each image with a note; a gallery without names quickly becomes unusable.
Each photo must remain traceable.
Tickets, opening hours and practical information
The invitation is free when downloaded before the visit. Without pre-registration, the ticket costs 10 euros on site, an amount refunded from the first purchase made at the show. Use only the official ticket office: the organizer warns that tickets purchased from street vendors will be refused.
The show opens at 10 a.m. each day. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, doors close at 7 p.m.; on Sunday, at 6 p.m. Visitor entry is through gate A2 and the recommended parking is P6. A cloakroom and ATM are advertised in Hall 7.2. Animals are not allowed, unless an exemption is granted by the organization.
The site is accessible by metro 12, trams T2 and T3a and several bus lines. Travel times increase with crowds: check the traffic situation before you leave.
Plan the return journey.
